The microblogging platform Twitter has announced the inclusion of Spain in its local trends. The inclusion of Spain will mean that Twitter user can now check what is most commented in Spain as well as in 13 other newly added countries and 6 newly added cities.
As Twitter reported on their blog, it is now possible to find out what the most commented topics are in Spain.
Twitter also announced the inclusion of Google Translate stating that they hope these changes will “help people connect and find out what happens,” no matter where they are and what language they speak. “These new places are some of our fastest growing markets. More cities and countries are to come, “they say.
Other newly added countries and cities include Argentina, Australia, Chile, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Italy, Netherlands, Singapore, Venezuela. Cities: Detroit, Miami, Minneapolis, Rio De Janeiro, Sydney, and Toronto.
