A fishing vessel with at least 20 tonnes of hashish has been seized by customs officials 120 miles southwest of Cadiz, in international waters.

It is the largest stash of drugs intercepted in Spain in 10 years and one of the five largest seizures in history said sources at the Agencia Tributaria.

The boat was taken to the Port of Cadiz, where it arrived at 09.00 am this morning. The three Dutch nationals on board have been arrested on charges of smuggling.
