The body of Jose Lopez Alcala, the pilot and commander of the rescue helicopter which crashed into the sea, has been found by divers searching for the crew members of the helicopter. The helicopter had crashed five miles away from the Almeria coastline last Thursday.

The divers found the body 85 meters below the surface of the sea, and extracted it from the wreckage. The bodies of Inigo Vallejo, and that of co-pilot Kevin Holms, are still to be brought out, as the extraction specialist have been doing their work in teams.

Only one amongst the four crew members had survived the crash. His name is Alberto Elvira, and he was admitted to Torrecárdenas hospital with multiple injuries and hypothermia, after he was rescued from the sea. He was discharged form hospital yesterday.
