The police have arrested two people in Madrid who had hidden as much as 76 kilos of hashish in their car’s airbag. It is reported that the two had also hidden ‘acorns’ of hashish in the side back panels of the car.

The two were being followed by the police since Granada and the police finally managed to get hold of the traffickers when they were heading towards a district in the northern part of Madrid.

The police knew that a second advanced vehicle was being used by the traffickers to know about the presence of checks and controls. A complex, remote-controlled electronic system had been used by the traffickers to gain access to the hashish.

The police have not revealed anything about the identities of these people yet.
