The top auto manufacturer in India, Tata Motors, has announced that they now have full control of Hispano Carrocera SA, which is the leading bus company in Spain.

Tata Motors is a part of Tata Group, has announced that it bought the full amount of the remaining shares in the company, increasing its ownership from 21% to 100%. The company did not reveal how much they paid for the shares.

The company released a statement that they are confident that their purchase of Hispano will help the company grow as a stronger company, both in Spain, and in the international markets for buses and coaches.

Tata Motors has owned a share in the bus company since 2003, and has bought other motoring icons as of late, including Land Rover and Jaguar.
