It was a good day for Felicity Johnson from England at the Sunday Tenerife Ladies Open, due to the fact Johnson was able to secure her first victory in the Ladies European Tour.
The 22 year old golf player was able to bounce back from a three shot deficit to steal the win over Becky Brewerton from Wales at the Costa Adeje tournament.
Johnson was able to get two birdies in a row to secure her way to the title during the last two holes of the match.
She stated that she has worked very hard towards winning the title and that it was ‘fantastic’ to see her dream become a reality.
Other top finishers moving towards the title include Joanne Mills from Australia, who finished in 9th position, with a final score of two under par.
