The number of confirmed cases of swine flu or H1N1 virus in Spain reached 100 as the Ministry of Health confirmed a further 2 cases Tuesday, one in Andalucia and one in Valencia.
There are currently 23 patients under investigation. Out of the confirmed cases, 78 had recently visited Mexico and 22 not. The Ministry also noted that 162 patients had been released after investigations concluded they were not infected with the virus.
The WHO announced a total of 5,251 confirmed cases of swine flu (influenza A/H1N1) in a total of 30 countries, with 61 people dead.
