National Police forces has dismantled a group of drug traffickers who had operated out of Sevilla, selling drugs online, especially via forums, social networks and classifieds websites.

Police sources revealed that the investigations began in April and initially based on information that people were selling drugs to consumers who contacted them via websites and advertisements on discussion forums and social networking sites.

Investigators established that the drug smugglers made frequent trips between the cities of Madrid and Seville. This lead the investigators to a farm located in Utrera (Seville), where they discovered a well established laboratory where the drugs were manufactured.

Police detained 8 people and seized 15 kilograms of Cocaine as well as 180 kilograms of various chemicals, two guns, a “pistol-pen”, ammunition and various scientific tools and gadgets.
