Around 3,4000 tech lovers booted up their computers today as the 14th Campus Party began in the Museo de las Ciencias in Valencia.

The participants will be able to connect to the web at speeds of up to 10 GB and enjoy conferences held by tech personalities including Steve Wozniak, co-founder of Apple, Bob Allen the robotics expert and Oliviero Toscani an advertising campaign designer.

The Campus Party event can be followed via the organization’s official online “Campus TV” as well as via Twitter and Facebook. The 14th edition of Campus Party will run until the 1st August.

Campus Party started in 1997 as an event for Internet enthusiasts. Campus Party is the trendsetter for many disciplines such as robotics, software creation, digital culture, modding, security and networks or digital creativity among others. To date there are four annual editions of the event: Valencia, Sao Paulo, Bogota and Mexio City.
