Spain deafeated the Netherlands in the World Cup 2010 final, winning the title by a score of 1-0. Andres Iniesta nailed the winning goal during extra time.

The match which was plagued by fouls from both teams and zero goals during the first 90 minutes, took a turn when Andres Iniesta scored the only goal in the 116th minute.

Both teams had never won the World Cup before, with the Dutch team previously reaching the finals.

The Spanish team which played in blue, will receive the World Cup trophy wearing their classic red shirts.
