Turespaña presented its new online marketing campaign at Fitur last week, a project that aims to completely change the way of communicating and promoting tourism destinations.

Spain Facebook PromotionThe campaign, which hopes to attract tourists to Spain, evolves around the name of “Spain, a country to share”. The idea is that Spaniards “sell” the hidden corners of Spain as well as the best kept secrets of gastronomy or culture to people around the world effectively becoming the guidebook that guides travellers to the real Spain.

Turespaña has launched specific communication channels on Facebook, Twitter and YouTube, where Spaniards can contact foreigners and promote Spain.

The Facebook fan page of “Spain. A country to share” currently has around 4,500 members.
