Much of Spain is to see snow today, including Asturias, Aragon, Cantabria, Castilla-La Macnha, Catalonia, Valencia, Galicia, Madrid, Navarra, Murcia and the Basque country.

Barcelona, Lleida and Girona are expecting up to 10 centimeters of snow below altitudes of 300m.

Castellon will see snow below 700m in the early hours of the day and below 400m later on during the day. Valencia is expected to see snow at around 600 to 1000m altituges and Alicante between 800 and 1000m.

Southern Spain is expecting around 20cm of snow in Jaen (Cazorla and Segura) as well as in Granada (Sierra Nevada and Alpujarras) and Almeria around 6cm. Up to 5cm of snow is expected at altitudes of between 800 and 1000m in Murcia.
