The collapse of the largetst Scottish airline, Fly Globespain has left around 5,000 travellers stranded abroad, mostly in Spain, Portugal, Cyprus and Egypt and around 90,000 without their Christmas Holidays, many of them had plans to visit Spain over this period.
Around 3,400 travellers are abroad and not covered for repatriation, leaving them stranded without a solution.
Only a few days ago the carrier dismissed talks of closure, but the collapse comes after the failure to secure a multi-million pound rescue package.
