23 year old Spaniard Pablo Martin won his second title on the European Tour on Sunday in South Africa when he overcame Charl Schwartzel from the host country by a margin of one stroke after the final round. Martin scored a three under par 69 in the final round and an overall score of 17 under par, which is equal to the tournament record.

He birdied at the second, fifth, twelfth and thirteenth holes in the winning round while he bogeyed at the seventh when his tee shot was off target and landed in the water. On the final hole, Martin led Schwarztel by two shots and had to ensure victory by putting a two foot putt for par as Schwarztel had got a birdie on the same hole.

This is the first win for Martin since 2007, when he had won the 2007 Estoril Open de Portugal while he was still an amateur.
