Somali pirates, who currently hold a Spanish fishing boat and its crew is docked in a bay along the Somali coast, said they will not release the hostages unless two other Somali pirates, who are currently in Madrid facing trial for piracy, are released.

The boat, the Alakrana, which has been under control of the pirates at the Harardere port since the beginning of October.

The Spanish navy captured the two pirates, who are currently in Madrid facing trail, after they left the boat to go ashore.

The crew has members from the countries of Madagascar, Spain, Ghana, Senegal, Indonesia, and Seychelles all of whom are supposedly in good health.

In the same area, another Spanish crew were held hostage, until after a ransom demand of £750,000 was met.
