Marcos Senna has recovered from a hamstring injury that forced him to sit out the Confederations Cup tournament in time to play in the Spanish squad in the World Cup qualifying match.

Senna was a key player in Spain’s 2008 Euro team and is the only new addition that will join the Spanish squad in the upcoming Macedonia Match.  He plays midfield and will play alongside Igancio Monreal who is covering for Sergio Ramos as a defender.

Spain will host Belgium in La Courna on September 5th just four days before meeting Estonia in Merida.

At the top of Group 5 is Vicente del Bosque’s side which have a 100% record.  In second place is Bosnia-Hezegovina.
