British workers are thinking about relocating to Spain because of the economic climate that is currently plaguing the UK.

Accounting Web, a financial employment website, stated that employees are considering a move to Spain because there is a better balance of work and personal life pursuits in the expatriate Spanish communities versus what is currently found in Britain.

Although the salary levels are lower in Spain with high taxes and social deductions from pay, the sunny climate of Spain and its wealth of activities is a draw next to the economically strained and depressing rainy climate of Britain.

Spain is able to boast beaches, sporting facilities, art galleries, and world class museums.

In a survey by USwitch that was commissioned earlier in 2009 Spain was among the top countries that are able to offer a high quality of life due to shorter working time and more days of vacation each year.
