Officials are working in Mallorca to locate the terrorists responsible for the recent bombs but do not rule out that they may well have left the island. Security forces are in a state of “high alert” throughout the Spanish territory, which involves working day and night to locate the suspects and avoid further incidents.

The government do not rule out that they could return to commit repeat attacks on tourist destinations, but in response to foreign concerns, state that tourists “are not the objective” of the attacks and the victims of recent attacks have been members of the security forces.

British news sources are saying there have been some holiday cancellations but certainly no wide spread panic or mass cancellations, at this, the height of the holiday season.
