A British Airways plane made an emergency landing in Barcelona Sunday, after the pilots detected smoke in the cockpit.
Over 175 passengers were evacuated through the emergency chutes, shortly after the emergency landing at around 9.45 am.
The Boeing 757 aircraft was traveling from London Heathrow to Barcelona with 176 passengers, two pilots and five cabin crew, the airline said in an e-mailed statement.
The airline’s engineering teams will carry out a full investigation into the incident.
