Andalucia is already generating 30% of its electrical production from renewable sources, a 10 point increase over data registered in 2007. The exact figure reached 8,141 gigawatts per hour and year (GWh/year), out of which 58% were produced from wind energy.
Other sources of Andalucia’s renewable energies are biomass (15%), photovoltic and hydraulic (both 12%), thermosolar (2%), and biogas (1%).
