A rising number of Swine Flu cases have got health experts on alert around the world. With cases popping up across the globe including in New Zealand, Israel, France and Spain.

According to Spain’s Minister of Health, Trinidad Jimenez on Sunday, the Spanish authorities have detected three suspected cases of swine flu in Spain in people who were returning from Mexico ove the past few days.

All three individuals remain hospitalized, although “none of them are in serious condition”. The individuals are being tested and in the next 48 hours we will be able to determine conclusively whether they are suffering from the A/H1N1 virus, Jimenez said.

Swine flu symptoms include a sudden increase in temperature, headaches and muscular pain.

In Mexico, 20 people have died of the flu. Some 1,300 people have visited hospitals with swine-flu-like symptoms and 374 of these were hospitalized.
